Member Information
This year, KDRC will be competing in the 2005 Arizona Regional and the 2005 Southern California Regional.
The King/ Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science Robotics Team, #606 was organized in 2000
and entered it's first competition in 2001. In that year, we attained the Rookie All Star Award at the Southern CA. Regional;
and the Highest Rookie Seed and the Rookie All Star Award at the National Championships (Orlando, Fl). In 2002 Team 606 earned
the coveted Daimler Chrysler Team Spirit Award at the Southern CA. Regional Competition. Although we learned a great deal in the 2003-2004 school year, we didn't gamer any awards.

Here are some members at the 2004 Arizona Regional.

Recent Events
In Fall 2004 we conducted many fundraisers, which were very successful. We had a Krispy Kreme Donut Card Sale, See's
Candy sale, Christmas Wreath Sale, Vieja's Trip Fundraiser, ect. We would like to thank everyone who helped us out and participated
in these fundraisers.
Also in Fall 2004 we participated in a mock build session, where we built a robot that had to perform certian
tasks. We built the robot out of PVC pipes and everyone on the team had a chance to help build the robot, make a blueprint
(outline) for the robot, and use machines to make parts for the robot. This was a great learning process.
